We all want what we want.
Desire Craving It will always be this way. What do you do about that? Determines who you are.
You are a collection of your actions.
The sum of decisions.
Processes put into motion at the beginning.
If freedom is aspirational
If wisdom means walking the path. Might as well enjoy the scenery.
And might as well learn to love your chains.
I can't shut the fuck up about this.
And I can't tell you why.
But since I'm not going to stop.
I might as well try.
To do what I can along this primrose path.
For you and I To stop lying to ourselves about the fact that we're slaves And to thrive despite it.
And because of it.
Also, here's one of mine that I wrote several years ago:

I enjoyed the poem. Why do you write?
Are there humans in this world not in slavery? If so, who? Is there a reasonable alternative?
I can think of two groups that may have escaped slavery (in very different ways):
1) The hyper-rich who no longer answer to the populous. A prime example would be the VIPs who enjoy the viewing of the squid-games (in the Netflix TV show). These people have access to anything and everything they need or want and no longer need to please others or fit into a box.
2) Those who have significantly separated themselves from consumerism and capitalism by living on their own terms and being completely self-reliant for survival. Homesteaders, hunters, etc. These people no longer need the grocery store. They…
I guess there's no comments (yet) because people don't like admitting they are slaves. I'm a wage slave, although I've advanced my career (and associated income) to make my slavery less demanding. Still a slave though, not at a point where my investments make enough money for me to do nothing.
